A tribute to the legendary Jim Morrison of the Doors, who passed away on this date in 1971. One of my fave bands and singers ever.

wow, Steve, an outstanding tribute to JMorrison, who was one of the great poets of his time. You have such a feel for the 'iconic': You captured this woman in utter bliss, listening to his music in a deep cavernous room, with intense lighting on her, as well as on the throne---to be occupied, perhaps, by the spirit of Morrison himself. Great pose too...you have such an eye, Steve, you have a sense of the iconic in everything. This is a terrific dedication. And great job on her black suit and her pose. Morrison would be glowing to see this tribute...

A superb composition and tribute to this creative and gifted artist who passed away while performing in Paris. Four years ago, I went to see his tombstone, always honored with flowers and words of prayers, love and respect for his soul and career, at the Père-Lachaise cemetery, in Paris...
