The original Cotton Club was a major hot-spot, which featured the great jazz bands of its day, and major entertainers; and it was legendary and swank. This is a modern vision of it, but you caught the red-hot feeling (the X-X-X certainly emphases that, with its suggestion of hot-n-heavy sex, and it's hot pink lighting---a great choice in neon), and you caught the glitz and glitter, and the mystery of the place. Your choice to put that woman's ghost-face on the right is another of your spot-on intuitive choices: It gives this scene real mystery and allure---like whoever goes here is thinking of this woman, and can't get her out of their mind. The plaid pattern on the pole parallels the "X"s of the right side; and the reds are in all shades here, and they are really vivid. Fiinally, your model's gown---in full size---is like a sheet of pure red light, and I love how smooth it is and how you've draped it. And she's got red shoes and red/pink hair to match. Another visual knockout. Haunting and beautiful.
