Btw...as you know, I skip images when I comment, only because my comments are long...and if I commented on every image, I'd be here for a week, lol. But I see every image you post. If I had the time, I'd comment on them all, as I love all that you do.
This is a delightful scene, especially with your bright light and shadows--you created a "dappled" effect between light and shadow. (gefleckt?) And you've used a delightful array of characters...many of them look like they live in the country (i love the pigs and chickens, and the boy standing like he's going to sing a loud song...) The woman in the left-top is also delightful, playing a lute to her lover (?). You've colored this like an old print---it has some of the color-sense of the classic Japanese prints (Hokusai, Hiroshige). A delightful image once again.
