Love the tint here, love your use of bronze and green and rust hues and gold, and reds. You handle these old metallic hues beautifully---as beautifully as you handle vivid bright hues (as in your last piece, for Barb). The light casts shadows, but it has an autumnal glow, a glow of a gold-tinged interior...beautiful light. And the woman---Meretseger (I looked her up on google, I'd never heard of her before)---she holds that gigantic cobra with total aplomb, while her deep green dress matches the greens all around her. Love the bronze tones on her skin, too! And cat's eyes matched by the eyes of the snake. Terrific job on this. And this, too, is beautiful full size: You really have wonderful detail.
