Here is a more accurate view. To be fair to Angry Face in the version here (https://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/directions-in-life/2630452/?p), life is not a flat plane, and events out of our control do push us toward certain emotional responses (like gravity pulling us down a slope).

Very cool.
Life is like being on a boat in rough seas and, sometimes, events beyond our control cause a loss of the rudder after which, we are at the mercy of luck (or fate if you prefer).
