Description
Still having fun with La Femme--the Sparkle eyes are in the store queue, but I wanted to see if I could redo some of her skin shaders to render faster. She has a procedural specular shader that looks very good, but if you unplug it she has an EVEN BETTER specular map that is a work of art on it's own, plus that really nice color photo tex. So I stripped her head mat down to just the color, bump and spec maps, and added some Blinn on the specularity, and she does render a lot faster. For a medium distance I would keep the defaults, but I was finding close ups were slooowww and a little grainy on my machine. Also my Eyes are a bit toony in the default state, so a simpler mat setup matches them better. I still need to do her neck and body.
I still haven't quite gotten her brows lined up with the brow plate, so for now she has some magnificent caterpillars :D

Reminds me of someone I used to know, apart from the eyebrows and the eye colour. She's looking better every time you render her.
Thanks! It just takes a while for me to get used to how a new figure works! I bought some more fun morphs for her that I want to try tomorrow. :D I had forgotten how easy it is to pose and move lights in Poser after using DS.

They are! Sometimes a little over the top, but I use the G8 ones pretty much all the time now. I'm excited you are playing with her! I can't wait to see what you come up with!
