Description
I've been fiddling around with Prae's Emerie hair for days, trying to learn how to texture hair, and it's not easy. So far I have managed to make several fun colors with a much less skillful transparency than the original, but I have learned things. This pic came about because I was tired and I started fiddling around with the hair movement morphs, and then Ilona's poses, and then I just went ahead and put j-art and Ilona's background in there and rendered :D

In the years before Spatula Woman befriended the first of the Avain Apes of Appledore, her life was a series of misadventures and crises. Disaster dogged her footsteps, following closely behind her. Which is much better than being before her. You can outrun the past, if you are nimble enough. She relied on her besties, Miss Deeds and Miss Demeanor, to oh... er... you didn't mean that literally!!

That hair looks pretty doggone good to me! That's something I've not tried messing with - hair materials - other than a few fun things I did for the Girl 4 hair. So much to experiment and try. It neve gets old..

The transparency is the worst part of making hair, I usually spend days and make about 50 different version's then give up and use the first one I made!

That is it exactly! Fireangel had some good tips about how the color maps interact with the transparency maps, so the newer ones look better. I will have some for you soon! <3

She certainly looks as if she's in a hurry, though developing the ability to run in those heels must have taken years of practice! I see the usual high standard of posing in your work. I am glad the thread I linked to was of some help.

Her boss at the night club was looking for her to work overtime for the 4th day in a row, and Aryn had had enough. When the mystic portal opened in the break room (these things happen) she made a break for it!
Oh God, I need to make some hair (manes) for my Pantheran fellows. They are a bit annoyed at being basically bald.
Render turned out great as did the hair. From what I have heard doing hair textures can be a challenge. I am sure you are more than up to it.
It's really hard to get it to look natural and still render in my lifetime--the transparency layers make it looks great and make calculations slow to a crawl. Also it's easy to make something too transparent or not enough transparent 0.0 It's still weirdly fun, though!
