Lovely!
.... lots of good elements in this one, and very appropriate for Winter
Magnificent work! A fantastic image! Bravo!
I can almost feel the cold wind, well done...

Truly beautiful image!
One fine image my friend, magnificent and one of your best.
Beautiful character and scene, very creative. Love the wolf.
Beautiful scene, very nice image.
Great image!!!
Nice work
Really nice work on this composition, Barb. Ir brings to mind an Brit. romantic novel. As aside, winter in my neck of the woods hasn't looked this for quite some time. Feels like there will be palm trees in place of the conifers. :(
It was 75 degrees yesterday and will be 25 tomorrow this roller coaster climate is killing me
Exellent work.

makes me cold looking at her weather, but I bet she can warm things up real nice
Breathtakingly Beautiful,
You have a definite feel for capturing the spirit of a scene, time, place or feeling, via a human being, making her or him an embodiment of that spirit. This woman doesn't just look like she's 'out' in the winter wind, but like she's embodying the winter wind. While some of the grain on her gown is from blowing snow, it melds with her gown to where it seems at one with it; she seems dressed in something that was unearthed from the spirit of winter itself. (I love the texture and grain of her outfit, and how the snow interacts with it.) The howling wolf---I assume that's not a polar bear, only because it's howling (don't see a lotta howling bears around)---adds the right feel to the image because it's a melancholy image; and the mist rolling in the background (and the pine trees) make it feel all the more like winter, like she's on a lake in the tundra, with a lone lantern to guide her on her journey. The moon adds a perfect touch too. Very mysterious and magical and melancholy...very sensitively done, Barb.
Image Magnifique.
