Yes, it's an eclipse. But it's a big celebration, rather than a dark sky around the sun. The sky is giving the sun a big, big party. I love the intersecting sections here: The intersecting circles and lines, and those beautiful burnt blues, and greens, and tomato reds, and yellows. And even on the periphery, you have those beautiful embossed fractal flourishes...and the flourishes eventually fade into 'pencil' drawings. Your background is like canvas, and it glows gently, and it's also burnt. A beautiful very complex vision of an eclipse: The most uplifting eclipse I've ever seen.
Oh the colors and lighting are gorgeous Mies.
Thankfully one can see this without putting on dark glasses, because its so beautiful.
