I know, I know..... You're wondering just what happened to the unlucky thief..... Answers forthcoming in the next page - which will follow soon.. Violence not ticked as no one has actually touched him. Yet.
Tons of stuff going on here, but hopefully it will calm down as the new year approaches. Got DAZ installed and configured on the new machine, and now backing everything up on a network drive. So you'll see some DS renders pretty soon.
I hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas - ours was refreshingly quiet. May the new year bring all good things to us all.

So I was right, he DID pick on the wrong woman! Ha ha, she reminds me of a friend of mine when somebody picked on her, he definitely wouldn't do it again...
Flying Monkeys won't be able to pull G4's real name past my lips! I love the details and internal integrity of your pages! you never drop a stitch!! Super job!!!
He picked the wrong mark. But, being the way things are today, he'll sue the city because he bumped his head on the sidewalk when he fell.
So one piece of suspense is why the guy fainted: Because he wasn't prepared for women taking him down? I'm dying to see where this goes...IN any case, his dapper look (G4's words) lead me to believe he's got something going underneath the storyline. I love their lines ("are we THAT scary??") when he falls (and that cartoon font for "plop!" That's 100% pure cartoon lettering!), while they all stare at him in disbelief.
These top scenes seem somewhat muted in light, but the women stand out beautifully. I know nothing about it, but you have several types of light and shadow---to my naked eye---and you use them very well. It kills me that I know nothing about these techniques, because many of you discuss them in your uploads, and I'm out to lunch when you do. I wish I had a crash course in all this.
Then the meeting of Ella and Angelique. (Angelique??? I always wondered if G4 had another name.) I like that suddenly we get a glimpse into G's past via a cousin. It opens up the possibility of a whole new story line, maybe in flashbacks. (I've read the first few installments, incl your intro on the Breitlinger jar---but I didn't get far enough ((or at least I don't remember)) the origins of your characters---I mean their childhoods and years before they became agents. And the BJar history is great storytelling: I looked it up at the time and didn't find any historical reference to it, so kudos on that whole beginning lore, very well done, Rod, very real and very convincing. Ok, this is an endless parenthesis, so lemme get outa here...) (see to show you how I think, writing wise: I'd be stupid enough to do an installment on getting trapped inside parentheses, and having to call 911...scraping the bottom of the barrel, as we say...)
In this installment, btw, I think the "rail" I saw in the last inst. was really a bus. I forgot that. We see it behind Ella. Well so Ella reveals more than G4 wants (I like the little sub-twist there), and we assume she will somehow be in future tales, and maybe we'll find out more about G4's past. You're opened up several doors here.
In the meantime, the counterpoint of all this gleeful talk while Prince Charming is out like a light is very effective! (And kinnie looks down on him while the others chat---nice!) I also like the caption weaving between the women's legs in the last frame. Small thing, but really cool. And it ends in another meeting, and again, the visual of them, their figures, their outfits, their colors, etc, is finely done.
I can see this is another place where you have several story-lines going at once, and you weave from one to the other w/ each new installment. I assume this takes presence of mind, since you're juggling several stories at once. I commend you for it, you seem to be wholly at home with it, though I've no doubt it takes effort. I find myself exhausted when I have several storylines going at once, where, by the time I've woven them together, I'm ready to collapse.
More masterful work, Rod. I'm very curious what's to follow. Now I'll do some of your single images...(and the comments will be shorter, you'll make it home for dinner...)
