Description
Smokey’s Lady owner saw these cute dog sweaters in the pet store window and bought one. She figured Smokey could wear it in the family photo for the Christmas cards. About an hour before the photographer was to arrive, she put the sweater on Smokey and went to get herself ready and make sure the rest of the family was doing the same. Smokey was mortified! Has she lost her mind? Did she really expect him to wear this thing in a photo that would be sent to half the known world? Ain’t Gonna Happen!! Smokey twisted and rolled and finally managed to get his teeth firmly imbedded in the offending garment. He pulled and chewed and ripped until he could get it off then proceeded to tear it into pieces suitable for confetti. When the family came into the living room, Smokey was sitting calmly on the couch ready for his close-up. His Lady was horrified but the Man just laughed and said, “I told you he would hate it.” The kids helped clean up the mess while Smokey watched. He never again had to wear a costume for the family photos.
I saw Karth’s Dog Suit in the Daz Christmas gifts and immediately thought of this scene. I promise Karth to make a scene that doesn’t involve mass destruction to this wonderful gift.

Super cute!! My daughter's dog LOVES to wear clothing! I bought her a gold lame ball gown!! Sadly after two pregnancies, she's lost her girlish figure and can no longer fit into her beloved Dress!

My mom had a miniature poodle years ago named Smokey - she even bought a couple of those dog sweaters for him. He didn't seem to mind, though. I think that dog considered himself a fashion plate.... LOL

I loved this one: Three cheers for smokey! What we do to dogs...You got his twisted effort, and how uncomfortable that thing looks on him. Great story to go with it too. You want shots of dogs in vests and tops? Take the shot immediately...You also bring out the absurdity with the reds against his grey fur. (A santa sweater I presume. Like dogs really relate to santa...) Love it, and it's true to life too.
