Description
Each year a small group known as The Friends of Baby Animals collects local animals less than a year old to visit their special center to view the annual Christmas tree and to enjoy some treats (usually carrots and apples). Here we see one such group of young animals viewing the tree: baby lamb and piglet are mesmerized, while the fawn is trying to figure out what the strange thing she's looking at is. Meanwhile, the squirrel is looking at the tree for those nuts, since everyone was talking about nutcrackers--so where are the crackers and the nuts?!
Well, the next group is waiting their turn, so we must move along.

Boni and the Poser Staff
This is simply charming! And I love the way the nutcracker seems to be reaching out to them. There is a real sense of adoration in this piece; great use of soft light. The use of a reflective floor is an interesting choice (it does give more for the light to play off of than would a forest or dirt floor). Nicely done!
