Description
Lately I am experimenting a lot with acrylic pouring, and also with mixed media.
What you see here is a wall in our living room.
On the left are my very first oil paintings (from about 1987) and on the right my very first mixed media, of which I have now made almost 4.
Just love to throw all kind of materials on the painting board, such as dry flowers, as old fabric , or old underwear-lace, LOL.

Your physical painting is intense and beautiful, and it has the same sense of light that you produce in your fractals. I love the fish and the light in the plants around it; I love the light in the underside of the mushroom, and how it feels "magical"; I love the detail on the butterfly, and that beautiful abstract background, with beautiful greens and pinkish reds; and the light on the stalks, And the bottom painting is so deeply red, with wonderful reflections on the 2 glass containers, with some blue to balance it out, and that flat "flask" in the center---which is a counterpoint to the two bottles. The right-side painting has so much texture, and we can feel the mix of elements you put into it. It reminds me of some of Helle's collages and paintings. And you have beautiful areas of near-white, and bright orange, etc. It feels like an abstract version of a table, with objects all around. I really like that painting. And the wall is so bright---it sets off the paintings; with some beautiful bright light. Unfortunately, I can't see the paintings close up, so I can't comment on them in more detail. But, from what I can see, they are beautiful, and there's no doubt that they are by you. A beautiful collection. I'd happily put any of these on my walls.
