Description
Henri has called a meeting of the Neighborhood Canine Committee to tell them some amazing information he has just overheard. Duke, Blackie and King are not at all convinced that the little guy is circling on all four paws. He does tend to get excited and confuse the facts, but this news could be worth checking out. If a new Pets-R-Us is going into the Mall, they could have just landed in doggie Heaven.
Daz got me in a weak moment and put some of the Dog 8 stuff on sale. I was VERY BAD and got the Great Dane and the Lab. My daughter is going to kill me.
Elbow Update: Official verdict is Tennis Elbow, or in my case more aptly named “Computer Elbow”. Still using the left hand as much as possible, taking aspirin and limiting time in front of the computer. I’m able to do some Gallery time but only in short bursts for comments. I’ll catch up but it may take a while.

Urgh. "Tennis" elbow. Hate that. Got it myself from over-extension of the arm doing back- fist in karate. Elbow supports and weight training helped me but it still twinges now and then. I feel your pain 😣
Love the dogs. Since the background is so busy, it might help make the characters pop if you blurred the background or reduced the contrast.

Nothing more heartwarming than to see a pack of very different dogs coming together and enjoying each other's company. Especially with the lovely setting and background foliage. If only we humans could likewise learn to look past our differences and appreciate each other's company, too!

Rod talked about "sports injuries" for artists---he's more correct than he knows. I was almost immobilized from years of writing, drawing and playing piano with my left arm/hand; just the repetition over years---with few breaks---necessitated phys. therapies, and I'm still paying the price today. So I totally get the elbow problem you have. I hope it's healing and that you're not in a lot of pain. Taking time to heal is fully understandable, take all the time you need...(and btw, the last time I played tennis, Napoleon was in power, so that wasn't a big problem...)
First, I love that you call the talker "Henri". French? Does he eat quiche and listen to Maurice Chevalier? I also love that he's the small one, and all excited...The other three seem patient enough. And I like that they have a 'group'---they must text each other with news flashes...a delight. And a composition note (here goes): The black dog is lined up perfectly with that great gnarled tree trunk, and they're both dead center---really good composition. A perfect piece for your tale...
