Description
One of my last experiments with all kinds of drawing and color materials, just to be able to relax.
I had a great time sitting around, a matter of trying, daring, and doing.
Now there are several experiments ready, a matter of "just have fun, hide yourself behind a lot of colors! ;-)
Presumably several Dutch people have already written here how exceptionally warm it is here, with all the consequences for flowers, plants and animals.
About 38 degrees, and it slurps energy.
Our garden is completely dehydrated, just a little while and then I'm too, lol.

Heel kleurrijk en origineel werk Mies, voor mij lijkt het een puzzel van kleine, gekleurde vlakjes die dieren vormen, vissen, vogels ..De hitte maakt inderdaad alles kapot, en niet alleen in Nederland. Mijn bloementuin en moestuin zijn een groot stuk van mijn leven, maar rooskleurig ziet het er niet uit !!

Oh there is very much to see here Mies.
The beautiful bird appears to be ignoring the different fish that are swarming behind him.
The different pastel colors and textures are very eye catching.
We had a wonky Summer --- some days hot--- others very cold.
30c is very hot for me I can live comfortably with 20c.
We hit 40c and I thought I was living in a melting pot... LOL>
You take care of youself and take all the time you need and only come back when you are up to it.
I am not here as often as before but do check in occasionally.
You've created such intense lines, here, they zig-zag and pulse and undulate, and make this nature scene pulse with hidden energies. And then, you have primitive, 'cave' drawings---I love those! The white drawings all over the background---of little fish and droplets and balloons and other organic things. Then that shell and that bird---This is definitely a sea image; and yet the bird is standing on dry land. The bird and fish are so intense---it's like you made them as a collage, out of bits of paper and cloth; and your colors are so rich and varied. The whole image surges like an underwater wave. Amazing. You speak of being tired...I know there are many things that make you tired (and understandably so). But I assume that carrying around your talent and your 'vision'---I mean your inner vision, not just your 'eye' vision (your aesthetic and spiritual vision)---must make you tired too. Your talent demands a lot of you, and takes a lot from you. I can see why you need to rest after producing art like this. This is very vivid, very alive and very powerful.
Jacomina, I'm at over an hour in your gallery, and I must move on. Only because of the time. My comments are long, and therefore slow; so I can't do as many images in an hour as others can. But I think I commented on 10, and I've seen all the others; and you're a remarkable artist. I wish you much more peace and rest and health in 2019.
