I thank you from the bottom of my Heart Jacomina and as you can see I do look in occasionaly. I knew that you would not forget and I hope that all is well with you and Karel. I did think about Karel when it was his birthday a few weeks ago. By the way I am now 77 years old !!!

You posted this when I was away, but I saw it; and I love it! A great gift for Jeff. (I see he loved it too. He's 77---I'm almost 70, so I'm getting up there!) I love the "carved bone" feeling here. Like you made a bas relief out of ivory or bone, and painted it...then you gave it a beautiful matte finish. It's gorgeous---and that blast of pinks and reds is wonderful against the deep sea-greens (on the left) and the muted deep yellows (on the right). A spectacular, textured bas relief, with great forms and beautiful hues. A terrific birthday gift!
