Description
Kimo had driven to the Point almost by instinct. Here he could stare at the vast ocean and let the wind and waves drown out his thoughts. He needed to clear his mind for the task ahead and just hoped it would be enough to get him through it with his soul intact.

The background photo is one I took when Ray and I went to Hawaii in 2006 to work on a piano. We got to play tourist on Sunday afternoons.

Love the closeup! We get to see a lot more detail, incl his scar, his big lips, his eyes. He looks really intense. And I Like his mix of ethnicity, he looks part Mexican (part Latino at least), a little Native American, some Asian Indian, some Haitian, etc. Love that skin tone. And he's really concentrating. Thanks for posting the closeup: It fills him out a lot more!
