No, this isn't "fatshaming" - but imagine not being able to eat an ice cream in public because people will think "she shouldn't eat that" - not knowing WHY that person may be overweight. It may be the first ice cream in years, that person might have just LOST a lot of weight and been even heavier before.
And then those skinny people who can eat all day and not be able to gain an ouce, even when they want to ...

Excellent image... I understand all too well... since starting dialysis I've gained 10 pounds due to the fluid I retain. My mother, who suffered for very sever Crohn's disease, was on steroids for most of her adult life and could not help but gain weight due to retaining fluid and swelling. Shaming of any kind is nothing more they bullying... and every knows that bullies are nothing but cowards trying to deflect from their own short comings!

I bet your ice cream tasted far better than theirs :) Since giving myself hypertension most fun foods are off the menu but occasionally I sneak into a pub and have a pie and a beer - the taste is amazing.
