With Andrea and Tara, this is a masterpiece, Jacomina. You've created a photo, and a graphic piece, almost a 3D piece, and a single frame from a gorgeous animated film. It has all those qualities. I imagine you did this all by intuition---you let the sliders 'guide' you, and you listened to them very closely. Maybe you went back and forth, tried different methods, etc. And somehow, the image inside of you emerged on the page, and voila: We get this. The morphs of colors are gorgeous---very complex and deep. The textures are almost oil paint in quality. And the background is as complex as the foreground---this is life seen 1) up-close, 2) in great detail, and 3) with all its vitality brought to the surface, so it can shine. I know you've been going through a profound inner journey, and I wonder if pieces like this---and you've posted more than one in the last few months---reflect the light you've been uncovering, while journeying through the difficulties and darkness as well. This shows such depth and understanding. Maybe 'wisdom' is the better word...A masterful, intimate work. And the colors in the flowers are---as we say in the States---"to die for": Meaning, they're beautiful enough that one could "die happy" after having seen them. Wonderful work, Jacomina. Prodigious, intimate and cosmic.
