Description
This is a 1941 Willy's Coupe custom-built kit car with an Art Morrison chassis my buddy ordered from Atlanta, Georgia after he totaled his 1967 Chevrolet Nova 'Agent Orange'. Now the work begins. Trying to fit in the down-tuned engine from the Nova (down-tuned to 500 hp), trying to fit the headers, put in a rack and pinion steering, fit cross-drilled disc brakes all around, put in state of the art head and tail lights. power windows, leather interior, air-conditioning, a larger fuel tank so he can actually make it across town to Scottsdale and back home on one tank (of race fuel).
This kit car allows him to put 15 inch or wider wheels in the back. The wife picked the new paint. 2018 Ford red. My buddy his happy, he has something to do, and the wife is happy because she knows where he is - in the garage.

Can he do all that work himself? There are a lot of hard earned skills required...none of which are advertised by the Corps as reasons to join the Marines:) I keep track of antique cars,...it is almost impossible to find a stock '41 Willys...seems they all have gone to hot rods and dragsters. Neat photo.
