Very nice find... most walk this by while an artist stops and takes a shot. GREAT
See, this is what happens when you get old. Your memory becomes cluttered with little bits of trivia. For example, seeing this title I remembered that Japanese word for Zig Zag is Jigu Jagu. This and the other image show a lovely view. I hope this is all protected open space. After seeing the Hilton I worry Bournemouth will go the way of the little towns near me. Nothing but wall-to-wall beachfront buildings.
If she was sitting at Beachy Head I'd be worried....I love the zigzags in this one.

Nine years apart...the 2009 photo has a contemplative mood...the 2018 shot has a bright, inviting mood. Like 'em both. I also like that the city has added more benches for us older folks to sit upon. Five on the zig-zag where there were only two and six up above where there were only four.

I love your pov. The angles and juttings are terrific and rhythmic. I love the turn of the shoreline in the distance. And that old woman near the front. And the zig-zaggy lines of the railing tops, as they move to the back of the image. A really musical image, Andrea. Very, very appealing...
