Kinnie is already proving to be a valuable member of the team - and she's just beginning to get warmed up! Some mysteries are being cleared up - just in time to make room for new ones... Stay tuned!
I've been playing around with a little animation lately, and while the T.N.A. story is far too massive to animate without kidnapping Peter Jackson's staff of animators, I'm looking at some other possibilities. Again, stay tuned.
I've started up the Behind The Scenes videos again - after a 10-month hiatus. So once you get tired of re-runs of the Wedding, stop by and have a giggle.
I did a little bit of morphing in DAZ to create the "Wolf Girl" (by now you know who she is, hopefully - a big tip of the T.N.A. hat to Rajib), composited her into the background in Photoshop, and used a cloud brush I created for the memory image effects.

Wow, a blockbuster chapter my friend, amazing scenes in each block with great action, lighting and prop use. I never tried animation myself, I know lots involved in doing so. This is on of your finest pages Rod. Much enjoyed the view.

My girls are becoming very attached to your T.N.A story, Rod. They are all sitting on the edge of their seats wondering who this "Wolf Girl' is! They asked me if she was related to me in any way and I just said "Yeah. . . we're the same species!". Anyway, if Rajib has anything to do with it, I think I'm gonna' like it!!!

Well that was cool, that reminds me I need to come up with an interrogation/mission debreifing chair that does much the same thing. (by scanning neural activity and interpreting the patterns)
I honestly can't imagine myself ever being able to create something like this. Your attention to detail with so much in each scene is truly amazing. (You have a rare gift I don't possess). I don't think I've ever mentioned that I love your talk and thought balloons, but they're excellent! Great work all around!

Ok, here's the real comment...First, I don't know who "Wolf Girl" is---Sorry! I wish I had a better sense of her, or better memory. Dee says she's Miho...yes? Well I don't know who Miho is, lol, so bear with me, 'cause I still love this page. I really like how you faded these mind-visions (of the guy) into the side of the inner ship. Really well done, Rod. And how the wolf turns into that woman. And such a fascinating fact: She carries a gun, but isn't killing anyone, even with those explosions around. Great specific, Rod! Real imagination going here.
(You know who the Wolf GIrl should be? Ethel Merman. Ok, that has nothing do with anything, but I just wanted to say Ethel Merman...)
Great job with this complex interior. You always pay such close attention to detail, and one wants to go up and touch and look at everything. And your light is real interior light, medium and gray, and perfect for a lab where someone is being studied.
Your women are as beautifully done as ever, with more of your impeccable fashion sense to boot. And all in model stances, and each stance different. (Lots of variety from that, in every frame, another of your common stylistic traits.) Kinnie looks wonderful in concentration---I don't recall a lot of images of her in deep concentration, and you did it perfectly, as she faces towards the guy, with her legs out to the side. You got that down pat. You open and close with group images, and your array of women and their classic stances are all striking. And I love the statement, "Kinnie looks so cute in her scrubs". (If you said that to one of my doctors, she'd throw you out of the office, lol! It's the kind of thing a boyfriend would say to his girlfriend, before she left for work. Love that line.) You also get, as usual, great variety in the women's outfits, color, design, fit, etc. I'm telling you, you could do fashion images. (G4 is wearing a one piece---what, jump suit? Great job Rod.)
As for the end of the image: Some people know who wolf girl is: I'm an idiot, I don't; but either way, we're really curious what she's done, why she's so pacifist in battle, and where this fascinating installment is leading. Leave 'm hangin'...You sure got the feel of the inside of an exam room, your models are placed so carefully, dressed beautifully, and the space still seems big. More expert work from you, even down to the mustard yellow trim and floor guards...like dividers on a street! Expert work once again, Rod! ("There's nooooo business like showwww business like nooooo business I know..." See there was a reason to bring up Merman...)
