I have to admit, in a photo, he's pretty in his own little way, and it's a great photo. But ... in real life ... I would back away, because I never know (rarely anyway) when a spider is dangerous or not. (been bitten by Black Widows twice).
I agree they are interesting, but my gut always tells me they are horrid! Nice shot Helle.
A super shot Helle great details it's a delight my friend
Arachnids are so cool. Love this closeup with the fine focus in this pic of the little critter, Helle. I have a bunch of spider fotos myself.
I just love 'em! Great close - up of this cutie.
Fantastic shot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very nice close-up Helle.
Neat capture of this little spider, Helle!
A fantastic detail is to see on this "Cross Spider", Helle. They are so fascinating to watch, huh?
Outstanding macro. A fuzzy little critter.
That's a terrific shot! Such detail! Eight years, huh? What other gems do you have lounging around in your old files? :P
heavy comment from Boni---being bitten by a black widow twice is no laughing matter. And yet, there's Andrea calling this spider a "cutie". Well, spiders are goddesses of deep wisdom in many Native American cultures, so they carry a great deal of dignity with them. You say 8 year ago? I remember you posting lots of insects, years back---around the time I first came here---and so this photo feels familiar. You caught it's rounded abdomen perfectly, and that big bokeh'd flower is a perfect place for it to rest. Beautiful work, Helle.
A delightful find and capture. Truly a beautiful lady here
It might be just a spider Helle, but is a amazing picture captured on camera by you. God bless.
