Description
I had to scramble down an embankment to take this before the wind changed directions and caused ripples in the water
I feel this is the best capture of reflections of snow covered mountains/ lake for me. I am very proud of it

Nice calm lake, pov is super with the distant mtn and refections. One of my faves.
in the foreground the bottom of the snow filled lake can be seen
you can sell this image to just about anyone for as high as you can - there are offices around the world that would pay top dollar for this one.
Fantastic capture and crystal clear!!!
this is outstanding! bravo, Richard!!!
This is an absolutely beautiful shot.
Wow
oh, it's splendid, Richard, with that mirror-like water, and the crystal clear mountain peaks, and the dark encroaching forest on the right. And---as you point out---the snow filled bottom. Sterling, like silver. But I must add, you do monumental landscapes with such panache, you have many of them which are beautiful. They can't all have this miraculous moment, but you have mastery in your sleep, it's so second nature to you...In any case, this is a jewel. I'm glad the water behaved for you...it's gorgeous.
Stunning scene...5+++++
Damn.....any more photogenic and this landscape is at great risk of exploding!!! 'Someone' was listening when they gave the RULE OF THIRDS class.
A fantastic and beautiful view!
This is AWESOME!!! Perfect in every way.
Magnificent nature and photography!
It is very good!
Fantastic. The water is as close to a mirror as it can get. Lucky you! By the way, have you posted this before? It feels a bit familiar. Keep up the good work! :-)

Your efforts paid off big time, Richard! What a magnificent shot! The clear air, and the mirror surface on the lake make this perfect. This should be on the cover of National Geographic.
