I appreciate your concern for my health, Jacomina, but I woke up in the middle of the night, and I wanted to comment on more of your images before another week passes. I see them all...I just can't comment on them all, unfortunately. I wish I could. But, since I can't (because of time), here goes a 'sampling'...
This reminded me of a treasure someone finds in an attic. It's like many objects---some sacred, some simple, some silly, some just old 'keepsakes', etc---crammed into a pile. And we have to figure out what's in this pile. I love the detail here. And then, it looks like a Breughel painting---or a detail from a Breughel painting. You have his hues and his sharp shapes. And then, it's like the pieces of a very old instrument: If some expert walked into this room, he or she could assemble these chunks into an actual instrument. (in fact, this looks a little like a very fancy set of bagpipes!) A fantastic apo piece, fitting for a treasure chest in your fairy tale. And I love the patterns in the fabric, and everywhere else in this image: They're almost Mayan. A remarkably rich image, I just love it.
