Holy crochet hook, Batman! This is amazing! It looks like you took a piece of knitting, hand dyed it, and then did some beautiful embroidery over the top. I have to show this to my friend Pat. She'll go nuts. Should I tell her it's postwork? She'll spend a year trying to figure out how to do this with yarn, LOL! This is just remarkable. Gorgeous result!

Full size is a must: You call it "still life," but it's booming, jumping and almost psychedelic! I know the work of the lady Tara mentions, and yes, she'll love this, even if you did it digitally. I love the day-glo greens and reds and pinks. And the big messy confluence of all those petals and leaves. The vase has become a bottle; and the area around it is alive with swirls and such. An embroidery for people who need to know if their eyes are working: I love it. And the charcoal sketch is worthy of an upload too: It's got that jazzy improvised feel you do so well, mixed with serious still life sketching. I think it would be amazed to know you made this from it!
