Hello dear friends,
Every now and then I posted some pictures of Castle Hoensbroek, here you will see the entrance gate thereof.
I played a bit with a filter over the image.
Thank you very much for your look, I always appreciate your presence here very much.
btw. our car is at the moment for about 14 days in repair, we had a little accident.
Therefore Mieke came to our house yesterday, about that I was so very nervous and anxious, don't know exactly why.
But I had baked a rice cake, which is a speciality in Limburg, and this was successful, in contrast to me, ;-)

I love your picture. It reminds me to tell you that Bill has been doing genealogy for a good friend of ours, and it turns out she is a direct descendant of the VanValkenburgs (of Kasteel Valkenburg). I believe that's not far from you, Limburg not being such a large place. :)
