Hi dear friends,
Here I mixed a photo and a fractal.
The first day I couldn't walk at all, haha, I had to crawl up the stairs.
Meanwhile my foot resembles a painting pallet, with all kinds of dark colors, arranged all around.
A bit like lichen on a very thick wooden shoe.Lol. I now wear a support stocking and a kind of elastic ankle band, also at night.
But despite the size of the whole, I can 'just walk'. How wonderful, I'm so happy about that!
A miracle for sure.

Oh my! I have no idea how you do this, but the result is phenomenal! Those African daisies are glorious with the beautiful, muted greens and tans. Such subtle coloring, perfect for this piece. Stunning!

First, I read about your foot and leg when you posted this, and I hope they're healed entirely by now...or at least a lot more than they had healed on January 16th. (I know it takes time...but I do wish you total healing.)
Second, your fractal looks like a genuine painting---and a painting from the early 20th Century, with Cubist influence. I would have never guessed it was a fractal OR a photograph! It feels like a Cubist painting of flowers. I'm amazed how you transformed a photo into this fractal-painting. And I love the intersecting shapes throughout, and the bold flower on top, and the repeated petals, etc, and those dark red-browns, etc. This is masterful. A beautiful piece, Jacomina. I'll come back and catch up with the rest of your work soon. But at least I got 6 or 7 tonight. You've posted some amazingly powerful work of late; and all of it is filled with great vitality and inner light...
