Description
Captured back on 3/9/12, just outside of our condominium complex.
These guys are big, tough and sharp to the touch. They have to be to survive the long distances they travel bouncing on the wings of the wind.

Great captures of these famous tumbling weeds. It wouldn't be a western without seeing them bowling down a street. I am amazed that they are prickly. I have learnt something as I hadn't heard that. 😀
Excellent
Never saw them so lose. Great shot and thanks for sharing them. :)
As a "walker" .....excuse me may I pass ? This tumbleweed is huge, nice capture. Where do they come from and better yet , who gets rid of them ? NICE
Yeah, you definitely want to wear gloves when handling these things.... I still remember that song - my mom loved it.
Great photos!
Could be dangerous while driving :)
Great capture.
