I have a confession. I have gone to the Dark Side (Daz Studio). When they gave the V7 Pro Bundle as a freebie over Black Friday weekend I grabbed it and downloaded Daz Studio to experiment. I have been working with it and find it so much easier than it used to be, but the render times are really long on my anemic system. The three images I posted tonight are some of my first ones. Of course lighting is a problem again and finding things in the Library is a real challenge, but all in all, I am enjoying a lot of the features. My biggest problem is not having access to the gazillion items I’ve amassed in my Poser Library over the years. I know there is a way to get at least some of them into the Daz Library but I haven’t figured it out. I’ve tried to find tutorials and asked in the Forums, but no one understands the profound ignorance I have with the “behind the curtain” works of this program. If any of you have the patience to work at the Moron level of instructions, I would really appreciate a step-by-step lesson in how to import items or runtimes or whatever. I have several things (like SAV’s hair items) that have Daz Friendly materials for but don’t know to transfer them since they are in Poser format (.obj, .cr2, etc.). Hope you enjoy the new images.

Love your series--and your "confession!" I admit to having gone to the "Dark Side," too. I find it much easier than it used to be, and I can get the results I was too inept to get in Poser. I still miss Poser, though. I couldn't manage that bit about getting G3/G8 to work in it and gave up. Most of the Poser stuff I can get to work in Daz, but it's not the same.
Anyway, back to you! Crazy about your work. As always, taking a look is a guaranteed way to lift my spirits and brighten my day!
Great image! I give you a lot of credi for moving to DAZ. I've been using Poser so long, I could never move to the dark side.

this is totally naive: But can you export your native files as actual .jpgs, then import them into the new program, making them native to that program? I realize that would erase all the parameters of the original, but would it work? Well as I say, I know nothing about 3D, so I'm of no help...It's great to see kids in this, and they look just like kids. I love the girl's almost ballet-like pose. And, the boy's totally into something else (whatever it may be---he's thinking way beyond this scene). And they appear to be in front of a warehouse garage door (that would be one huge garage, if this were a home!) With all the grays behind them, their bright whites and (I think) peach beiges stand out really well. A very poetic piece.
Simple but crisp and pleasant image. Perchance you could make the image more interesting by having some creature peer through those wall apertures at the children!
