That looks amazing!
A really beautiful find.
and the cycle will begin in the Spring
The frost is pretty but sad for the rose.
Superb capture Andrea. God bless.
This little rose does look to have a very icy blanket. A lovely capture. Your weather sounds like ours is down here. :)
Poor rose. Outstanding detail on the ice crystals. This image reminded me that, a boy, there used to be orchards in Southern California. When the weather turned cold the farmers would put smudge pots, also known as a choofa or orchard heater, between the threes to keep them warm and prevent the fruit from freezing.
Beautiful crystal formations on the muted colors of the rose. Re wysiwg's comment: We still have smudge pots in our pear orchards here in southern Oregon, though every year more & more pear orchards are being replaced with vineyards for wineries & marijuana farms...
I love hoarfrost, but of course we don't get it down here. I'll enjoy yours! :)
Hang in there little rose, resist the cold...Brrrrr... Nice and interesting capture. Aloha
Wonderful capture Andrea.
Beautiful!
