This has a combination of your longer more meticulous drawings and your quicker 'sketch' drawings. It has both. The tree has real presence and thought, but it's also quick. It feels like it popped onto the page. You did the background with energy too, I love the quick lines back there, in the hills and trees, and those roofs and facades. And a few squiggles for water...and some very spontaneous plants in front. Another fine drawing Helle, in your series of wonderful drawings for this series. You know, if you hit a wall or felt let down when Inktober was over, just do Ink-vember...Ink-November. Whatever! You don't have to stop. You can keep going...you could set a goal to do it through the end of the year, and then beyond if you want...
