Would enjoy flying in one of these, cool shot.
Love it
wonderful capture
P40 with Flying Tigers markings maybe.
Fantastic photos, Richard! Most superb looking aircraft! Thanks for sharing!
She's lovely, especially that shark face
Super capture.
The Vanguard has a radial engine. This is a P-40N in the markings of the American Volunteer Group (aka the Flying Tigers). The markings are not accurate for this plane, however, as the AVG flew the P-40B, which was an earlier version.
a dream
Superb aircraft, excellent capture, Richard!
Great plane and capture!
LOVE the colour scheme Richard.
Amazing plane, nice shot !
Wonderful Work,
Another fabulous air plane !!!
The air scoop on the top of the nose like an early Mustang indicates it has a Stromberg downdraft carburetor and is an Allison 1710 powered aircraft. You found the fun not just in identification but in maintenance of integrity.
Beautiful plane!
Wonderful aircraft must look good in the air
Marvellous photo!
Flying Tiger P-40 Warhawk.
