They is a lot of emotion conveyed in this piece. I really like that it is monotoned, as that helps one to focus primarily on the light and dark, which I think is very well constructed. This creates (for me) a strong impact of connection to and resonance with the subject, even though they are an artificial - illusionary being. Excellent work from a creator who provides (in my opinion) constant supplies of great imagery.
