Description
Happy Birthday Jock and many many more of those in the future. Hope you are having a great day.
Have a great weekend all. Weather is a bit cool but mighty peaceful. No wind. Have been assembling shelves today with help from my younger son, Dennis, so I am worn out. So I will be late on cmmenting, as we have one more shelf to assemble tomorrow and severel other things to be done. Have had a hard time keeping up with you lately, but I am doing the best I can.
Thank you for paying my gallery a visit :)

Take care Helle. Exquisite image.
this is so lovely and thank you very much. I am truly touched
wonderful photo and gift for Jock -
Wonderful!
Happy Birthday , Jock!
These crumpled petals must be symbolic of how you feel, Helle!
HAHA! I just found them even more beautiful, than the young orchids. The texture is awesome :) But well, I admit, I am pretty flat today.
Lovely and creative and Happy Birthday to your friend!!
Superb capture and dedication Helle. Happy birthday Jock. God bless.
Very great shot Helle !!!
I like how delicate and fragile this seems. A beautiful image! Your little medallions are great, btw. :)
with tara, I love the medallions too, it's like Chinese painting, where the artists put their seals right onto the paintings, and paint poems there too. (Seals were an art to themselves, in the ancient east asian cultures.) But also, your crop is very creative, bringing us right into the heart of the flower; and you caught wonderful textures---this isn't a 'photogenic' flower, but rather a flower with real life in it. I love the capture; and anyone who didn't see it full size missed out bigtime. It's really impressive. (Happy birthday Jock, 90000 days later!) Your blank plaster-looking background is most unusual for you, and it makes the flower more intimate, as it looks like you have it on a table in your study. And the frame harmonizes with the flower's hues too...
