Marvelous capture my dear friend !!!
Some sort of disease on the plant. God bless.
SO interesting! Post this on Flickr and send a message to 'Curiosity thrills'. I think it may be a gall of some sort and he is a very knowledgeable specialist
I think it's an alien from outer space, maybe you should contract NASA.LOL Super foto, excellent capture, love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Andrea didn't weigh in with an answer to your question.
I'm sure I have no idea what it is. But it looks cool.
I too am clueless ... but it is beautiful!! great photo as well.
Fantastic and makes for a splendid image Helle.
Hi there Helle-friend
I know what it is, namely: A joker from paradise. And a great photo!
Beautiful capture Helle.
It looks a bit like a head. If you you would convert the whole photo into black&white I would think it is a very nice sculpture
I can't believe how many of your images I haven't commented on! I'll be forced to skip some images, just so I can give my best to the ones I comment on. But I'll come back in a few days, and do more. Even with my slow commenting, I'm slower now than ever before, and it's making me do fewer images than I want, and I'm sorry about that. But I never miss a thing of yours, regardless. (And I'll write back to your several wonderful letters too. RR has taken up all my spare time in the last week---moreso than ever before, and I've posted mainly very old works!)---and when I step away again, I'll be able to write a lot more freely. I apologize for my delay!)
It's a strange and beautiful photo, the thing sticking up makes a big splash on this otherwise green (w/ red trim) succulent. The background leaves frame that big white speckled thing. I have no idea what it is, and apparently there's no agreement among your fans...but it makes a beautiful protrusion for this sea of succulent petals. A beautiful, exotic capture.
