Very cool! I like this a lot, Mies!
Thank you for your nice words on my first post since getting back on Rendo. It has been a hard year, not only for myself but for Sheree as well. She is a real trooper, though--strong and supportive. What a gift she is! You're right, it's a miracle that I can walk again, and we're beginning to get back into doing the things we love to do. I do have some issues with one of my ankles, but I'm confident that everything will work out in the end.
We think about you and Karel often and remember you in prayer. I hope your health has been improving since we last wrote.
Oh, BTW, on top of the "coincidence" (if you believe in coincidence) of meeting you a few years ago on Rendo and finding you live a short walk from where we lived while in Nederland, we had a Dutch family move in next door to us last year. They were here on business for nearly a year before going back home. We resurrected many wonderful memories of our time in Nederland while having them as neighbors.

wow, Jacomina, you're really doing new and amazing things with these saturated blues and pinks. Like I mentioned in a previous piece, you're echoing Japanese forms (Andrea also picked that up), and it's stunning, and all yours. The piece is a big pyramid made of angled sections and wave crests; and I can feel the surf---but you know what else I feel? It's as if this were the mysterious "inner section" of a surf wave, the big curl that surfers rave about and hope to get inside of---as if you could see the center of the universe in there. That's what I think of, when I see this. Terrific. And the combos of pinks with blues is wonderful.

WOW! I see a whole ocean being pulled up to the sky by a tornado. Jacomina, it is so beautifully done. Love the colors and the tiny dripping waves. Looks simply fantastic. And this time I remember to use the rating. 5+ to you my friend :)
