Description
This is what remains after the birth of a Dragonfly.
I saw several of them in a little pond, hanging under big leaves of water lilies; quite in the dark, so I was the only one who noticed them.
This picture I turned to the left, so the pop is more visible.

I've seen the birth of such insects, and they're amazing. You captured this like a piece of bronze. It's stunning. You got a dazzling light on it---it truly looks like it's made of metal, almost gold. Amazing light. And, with Claude, I agree that that stringy thing on its upper body looks like string that holds him together. Beautiful capture and light.
