And then you do more straight-forward visions of animals, which nevertheless have your vision in them---here shown with that beautiful sky and moon in the background. The clouds are painterly and very dramatic. The moon is magical---bows to Jane Eden for her typically magical loving contributions to everyone who uses her creations; and to you for the ways you adapt, transform and always make them your own. The wolf strides just below all this, as if he's passing underneath the sky's 'ridge'. And he picks up some of those blues in his coat. Here we see, again, your attention to detail in these animals, and how you seem to separate every hair, and give each one its own voice. He strides across the image, then looks back, that almost yellow eye standing out against the darker hues around it. And he doesn't so much emerge 'out' of this sky (as in the celestial wolves), as feel totally at home with it: It's his natural habitat. Your crop/framing zeros in on the wolf and how he and the cosmos make harmonious companions. Humans, though inspired by such skies, would still need a lot of courage to live outside all the time, and be wholly at one with these majestic sky-scapes. But for the wolf, such skies are their natural canopy, which is what you seem to have portrayed here. And its orange and peach tones make beautiful contrast with all that blue...
