Description
We went to the Flying Heritage and Combat Armor Museum the other day. They have a lot more tanks now than they used to, which I don't find very interesting at all, but I liked the repetitive shapes of this one. Bill says it's a WWII T-34 Soviet tank. I tell you this because I said to him, "Do you know what that tank was back in the corner?" And he told me. So I feel like I should share the information with you, since I asked. :P
The postwork is just a bit of my old hippie-chick side coming out. :D

German Panther tank. Probably the best tank in WWII, after the bugs were worked out. The T-34 had different bogies.

For sgtbob14. You are right, these bogies don't belong to a T-34. But the Paul Allen collection at the Flying Heritage Combat Armor Museum does not have a Panther tank. However, you were close. The bogies in the photo above belong to a WWII German 8-Ton Half-Track Sd. Kfz. 7. A further difference between the Panther and the 8-Ton Half-Track suspension can be found in the number of bogie wheels...the Panther has 8 on each side...the Half-Track has 6 on each side:-)

to the dialogue between bill and sgtbob14, I want to say: "Certainly it's the K14r-6, used in the 30's, in the upper mountains of the Ukraine..." But, I wouldn't know what the hell I'm talking about...Your colors are wonderful in part because they're slightly muted---not too bright---which makes them harmonize with each other in ways that loud colors wouldn't. And I love the flower in the far right one---a little easter egg for those who zoomed all the way. The crop is bold, making a bracelet out of a terrifying sight (tanks in motion are terrifying, and I can't imagine what it's like to see them come at you in battle). A wonderful transformation. And, with your colors, it's hard to believe they're even attached!
