Description
This I made a while ago, from a picture of a yellow rose, I don't remember how I did it.
So just for fun some yellow on my gallery.

I'm only back for a couple of images in each gallery, so I can rest; but it's always a pleasure to come here and sit with yours. (I see all your work, as you know, but I can't always comment on it all.) This struck me, the day it went up, because it's like a paper collage. It's almost a collage of photos---maybe you used real photos, I don't know. And yes, it's very yellow. But you also have strong whites, grayed whites, deep greens, some beautiful hidden reds, and of course many variations of yellow. It's like an ultra-Cubist rendition of flowers, where you've broken some flowers into bits and pieces, and re-arranged them for a wholly different view. A wonderful collage, a wonderful abstract. And it feels "tactile," touchable, like this were a photo of an actual pasted collage. It's very different for your gallery, but just as much "you" as everything else you do. A beautiful piece, Jacomina.

It does not matter how you did. It turned out stunning! I love the variety of shapes and it feels like a fractal to me. Beautifully done!
