You succeeded...lines in landscape. This is beautiful. The smooth, gentle curves, the misty treeline, the fields that look like they were drawn by a draftsman with a sharp pencil and a T-square. And the silvery, mirror-like finish of the creek. So artistic!!!
Enjoy Chicago...it is a wonderful town.
thank you for comment my friend! :-))
Un superbe cliché très "graphique", j'aime beaucoup!
Bon voyage, Priska!
merci beaucoup cher ami! :-)

Wonderful composition!
This would have to be one of my favourite shots of yours B&W, beautiful soft flowing lines and then there is morning fog... ab-fab !
I've been wanting to return here for some weeks, as you're a terrific photographer. I'll skip around, but that doesn't mean I like the 'skipped' ones any less...
Bill and others are totally correct about this. This is a terrific study in how a river cuts up a landscape. Great treatment---the water is near white, and the river banks are near black. And---for balance with all their strong contrasts---your background is soft gray and gray-white. A very bold, graphic image. Beautifully done.
