Description
For a few seconds, the butterfly makes a stationary flying to put its trunk in a flower and drink the nectar. Then he switches to another flower .... like a hummingbird!
Hummingbird hawk-moth (Macroglossum stellatarum)
Sphinx colibri (moro-sphinx, Macroglossum stellatarum)

I enjoy how you capture your insects in flight, JC. Nicely done and love the shot.

Chapeau ! :)
A marvelous picture in action Jean-C. I have seen this Hummingbird hawk-moth last year for the first time. We are gifted with a beauty of nature. Thank you for showing us these creatures inside ;)

Good that you have no microphone with it. Otherwise you would hear the following: "Ah, yummy yummy! Suck, schlork! Ah, delicious!" Fantastic shot, my dear friend!
