Description
The Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway is a single-track branch line that connects the small communities along US 60 with the rest of Arizona. Branch lines like this one were built around the turn of the last century throughout Southern Arizona to connect mining, farming, and ranching communities with each other.
This is not a busy line and I don't know if the frequency of trains is one a day or one a week.

Another fine vanishing point shot along the old ATSF line.
Looks well used though or at least well kept!
a lonely and long view
break down on the crossing and see how fast they arrive!
Really past its glory days. Great pic, Sig.
