I'll be back for more of yours soon, Jacomina, but I wanted to acknowledge your piece for Lucinda, because her birthday was just a day ago. (I'll be posting something soon. I'm late with everything right now.) A beautiful pair of flowers, with one stalk almost resting on the other, as if they were dear friends. Beautiful light on the flowers themselves, and beautiful clarity on the stalks. And you photographed them against a luminous sea of green and yellow-green. Your faded background shines. A beautiful image; and, to me, it speaks of a dear friendship between two souls. Wonderful work for Lucinda, who is just as you describe her---"how sweet and sensitive". And I too would love to see her images here, again, though I understand why she needs to be absent. Happy Birthday, Lucinda, and many more!
