Description
Softly like a cat on her velvet paws, she had sneaked through the old Victorian house. After a short search, she had found the little jewelry box. Full of childish joy, she looked at the great ruby. The nuns from the orphanage, in which she grew up, would probably get a heart attack at the sight and she would have to stay in the dark cellar again for days. But now she cared for herself and the big ruby would surely give her a bed and hot meals for a while. Now she had only to go back to her hiding place.
