Thank you, Andrea! This is a fascinating and beautiful plant. It's fun to visually wallow in the lovely details of its structure. A gorgeous shot!

Lovely unusual plant!!
A striking piece of art work has resulted from the almost alien form!
When I was a child, I had a tortoise that would eat these voraciously, much to mums disgust who was failing miserably to grow them hehe.
What a lovely succulent. A natural mosaic.
See your marvelous postwork in the background. Very artsy. Perfect dedi.
terrific shot for tara. And there's a 'grain' about it---maybe it's in the plant, but the shot feels almost dusted with a fine powder, which makes for an near stone sculpture feel. Love the bulbous forms; you captured them beautifully. And you postworked the background too---verrrrry sneakily! It blends right in. Beautiful shot for Tara. (If any of us ever came to visit, you could really pull a coup if you got the whole area to look like your postworked backgrounds---edge filtered, posterized, colonized, etc. It may take a little effort---and some very tolerant neighbors---but it would be a great prank to pull off on your RR friends. "Oh, that wasn't postwork: This place really looks like that!")
