Description
Sure resembles it. A very colorful image in the museum. Tried to pull the colors, esp the gold, out for posting here.
We are out of American "primitives". I had one more I wanted to post but it was really covered in white spots as in dustspecks... on a digital image? I guess I picked up a lot of reflection off the overhead lights and didn't notice. Sorry.
We are taking off for about a week so I won't be posting until we return. For The Met we still have some oriental galleries to poke thru and then the Egyptian gallery with a reprise of other stuff as we rushed to get out of The Met. (You have to understand. We'd been in some pretty culturally unexciting places and this was our attempt to" museum it to the max" until our eyeballs bled. It was fun and I hope we can dive back in again next year.)
Enjoy; thanks for viewing.

Great capture
Amazing !!!
Lovely!!
Looks like her robe is half open. Must be the light. Otherwise, interesting photo with all the smaller paintings surrounding the central figure. Keep up the good work and am looking forward to coming posts! :-)
