Description
Still playing with getting used to texturing stuff in DS. I added this texture to Outoftouch's sexy slash dress - and as a bonus Wendacora stopped by, and agreed to model it for me. She's such a good sport! The pattern texture was created with Adobe Capture on my Ipad.
I'm trying out something new (like I need more projects...) I'm starting an experimental series on YouTube called "Behind The Scenes". I'll be posting videos on an occasional basis (not a daily or weekly VLOG... I'm not Casey Neistat...LOL). It will be kind of a behind the scenes look into creating art, going on photo excursions, flying drones, and just some of the crazy stuff that goes on around here. I've posted the FIRST EPISODE tonight.
I've had several photos accepted on Adobe Stock, so maybe I can get an income stream to augment my Social Security. What a concept..... Making a buck doing something I actually enjoy!
So far, tonight, my ailing computer has been behaving itself, but I'm still going to have to replace that hard drive, or maybe look at a couple other options.

Texturing is definitely easier in Octane. Specially for mixing things up to create new textures. But yes, now and then I do end up using the daz shaders.
Looking good. Her dress looks amazing, (so do her boots). Texture play can be really rewarding, both the available used differently in Daz, as well as introducing your own. I think it is half the fun, Nicely done.

She does look smokin' in that dress, nice texture work too! And the backdrop fits perfectly, is it real, or is it memorex!
The experience is somewhat dampened though. Wee Marvin (cat) has his butt in my face.

Good job blending your toony character into the background photo, she's starting to look less cartoony and more realistic in this scene. You probably don't want her to break character either. Her shadow has a lighter shade comparing with the rest of the shadows.
Yeah, that shadow was driving me nuts..... It still has just a touch more cyan than the actual shadows. Hmmm... I might try duplicating the layer she and her shadow is on, and setting the blend mode to multiply - then fiddling with opacity....
Looks like Wen is going to be a regular... and that would be good... I think it's cool that more people are joining the TNA... can't wait to see more!
