Description
Another shot from the train station. I was wandering around the building, and the light in the baggage claim area was so nice, I just had to show you. Aside from cropping and tweaking the levels just the tiniest bit, this is right out of the camera. It really was a remarkable sight!

I never thought of these as beautiful but somehow you've managed to do that. The lights give it a lovely golden sheen.

Nice photo. I've always found these constructions rather fascinating. Being in a train station surprises me somewhat, as they're usually seen at airports. Keep up the good work! Looking forward to more Union Station photos! :-)

I do understand how a picture like this could come right out of the camera (mostly, as you say), because it's one of the ways you see things. This is beautiful, and reminiscent of the older light and shadow pieces you did, some years back, with those 'rembrandt' red-gold hues, and lots of deep dark around them. The emergence of form out of the void, shining and warm and rich and mysterious, turning the simple 'baggage claim' into a whisper of light-emerging. Beautiful work, Tara. I'll do more soon, but at least I'm getting to some of your new work at last (going backwards). Now to more of Bill's...
